Thru October 5: The Dearborn Artist’s Society will host Reflections on the Model T at the Henry Ford Estate during normal estate hours.
Thru November 30: The Henry Ford Estate hosts ”The House the Model T Built” which includes a re-focused Estate tour & a new exhibit in the garage.
July 2-5: Greenfield Village hosts the 16th Annual Salute to America. Picnic, relax, enjoy the music & get ready for one of the area’s finest fireworks finales. Members of The Henry Ford receive discount admission for this event.
July 5, 26 & August 30: At the Henry Ford Estate Fair Lane. In honor of the Model T’s centennial year, enjoy a commemorative tour of Henry Ford’s six-level Powerhouse & 3000 sq. ft. Garage. This special anniversary program includes a special guided tour, Model T demonstration, & a boxed lunch served in the historic Tea House in Clara’s Rose Garden. July 7-18: Matrix Theatre Company hosts a 10 day intensive camp for teens ages 14-18. Students work closely with environmentalists, & professional performers of all kinds to create an original play from conception to production. Teens will learn how to speak out about the environment with acting, improvisation, writing & movement. They will be attending an overnight camp Friday – Sunday. Fee: 125. Scholarships available.
